On the 1st of June we had a spectacular Samoan Umu ( a traditional delicacy)with a chocolate cupcakes that were provided from Reece's Mother as it was his Birthday. Majority of our class were selected to either go with Mr Faalili and prepare the part of the Umu with him, or stay at the school and prepare it with some teachers. The Samoan dish included ingredients or other islander food were Chop Suey, Pig heads, Crayfish potato salad,Chicken, Lamb chops and Taro. Myself could take weeks to explain what happened and how they prepared or cooked it so you can have a look at some of the photos and videos. It was a great experience when eating this delicious food and I can not wait for more stuff like this.
